hi cristina,

I'm looking for test photographers, but they charge $300-$500 to test. I live in NJ close to NYC. I'm a commerical print model, can you give some ideas? or photographers?

Hi Angelina,

Yes you are right :) You can find photographers that are willing to do "TFP" or Test for Print. Just please be careful when doing so... There are a lot of sketchy people out there looking to take advantage of young girls as well. Please always bring a friend with you when getting your photos done. You do not want to place yourself in a compromising situation...

Yes- that is usually the cost for a test... I know of an amazing photographer just outside of NYC. I think they are actually $650 with hair and make-up. They are well worth it though... All of the great commercial print agencies in NYC use them. There web address is
