Explore Modeling - Everyone keeps telling me that swimsuit modeling is my strong point and that Miami is the best market for me. Do you know if you can get with an agency and only go there for a few months? I would like to go there and try that market for a few months but I would like to have an agency before I went and I don't know if they accept models who are just coming for a few months! Hi Megan,

Yes- they definitely accept models for only a few months! That is what most models in NYC do anyway. During the winter they head to Miami where it is warmer and busier for work. There are many great agencies there! Ford, Elite, Wilhelmina, Irene Marie, etc. Or there are commercial agencies like the Green Agency or Gilla Roos.

The great thing about heading down to Miami for a few months is that you get to meet all of the clients there. Then when you head back to NYC- they can direct book you from Miami! This opens up a whole other market for you...
