Is it too late to start Commerical Print and Fashion Print modeling at 28? Also, do you think I have what it takes based on my portfolio picture?

Hey Cristina, Jess had her 1st TFP shoot w/ a local photog. Can you please tell me what you think of the shots and if you think any would be good for a comp card? He's making a high res. disk w/ all the shots for us. And he wants to shoot her again, outside this time when it's warmer. It was a great experience for her. The photog and his wife made a great team and Jess felt very comfortable. She felt like a real model! :)

Hey Cristina! I just signed up with this site and it's awesome! I have a few pictures up, could you possibly critque a few and let me know which one would be my best head shot and body shot to submit to different agencies? What kind of pictures am I lacking in my port? Any agencies in particular that you think would be interested in my kind of look? Ahh so many questions, I know! Thank you! Jessica :)

Hi Christina, I've been told that I have a great commercial look and at the same time a high fashion look. Could you please take a look at my portfolio and let me know which one in your opinion suits me best? Thank you.

Hello Cristina! I'd love to get some feedback on my photos and maybe some insight into what my look is right for. I understand that my size is a bit much for fashion, but I'm working on toning my body. Do you think I have a good enough look for commercial or fashion modeling? I'm not looking to be famous but I LOVE being in front of the camera and would like to make a career out of it. Thank you! :)

Hi Christina, I uploaded my photos to your site, but don't know which ones would be best to use for a comp card. Can you help me to choose the best ones. Also, I'm not sure if I made the best selection for my primary photo. What do you think? My mom met you when you did a modeling seminar for Pat Bowles and my sister Natalie attended. Great site! Thanks, Jamie

Hi, I put my photos online and was wondering if I could get people opinions on them. I had more taken recently, but I'm still waiting to receive them from the photographer. I want to create a couple different comp cards and was wondering if people could give me opinions on which photos they think I should use. I know it depends on the market and I am willing to travel anywhere. Thanks so much for your help. Ellen

Cristina, I took your advice and shot some new photos of Jessica. I sent a few of these to Modelogic and they would like to meet w/ us. Do you think the new photos (brick and white garage door backgrounds) are more appropriate to send to agencies? The lighting was better outside although it was a cloudy day. Thanks so much :)

Hi Cristina, Please look at my poftfolio and tell my if you think I have what it takes. I am not tall enough to do high fashion and really would love to do commercial print work. I have also tried to print my comp card from home and it is not working.

Hi Christina! I just started out in the modeling business and have started by doing TFP* with several local photographers and have done a paid Hair Show/Runway. My dream is to be a runway (I'm 5'9) and high fashion model. The only problem now is that I feel like I'm stuck.. I don't know many agencies in Milwaukee, WI. but would love to do more projects and really get my name out there some how. Any advice? Do I really have to move out to LA or NYC to get on top of my game? Oh yea, and what do you think of my port so far? here's a link to it =] http://www.modelmayhem.com/pics.php?id=1109605 Thanks for your time! Grace Pamela

Hi Christina, When you have a chance will you look at my photos? I want to create comp cards, but I don’t know which pictures to choose for them for NY, LA, FL, Chicago, CT, RI and of course MA which is where I currently live. I’m very ambitious and willing to travel anywhere outside my market ( plus I love to travel). I recently had new pics taken, but I’m still waiting for them. So in the mean time I mine as well utilize the ones I have. Also another quick question what are your thoughts about sending reference letters to agencies. I recently worked with designer Cindy Renee Mathieu modeling her clothes for a runway show and she wrote me the nicest email stating how I had a great personality/attitude and was wonderful to work with, one of the best models she’s ever worked with by far and wants to work with me again… is this something I could show to an agency/go see. Thanks so much for your advice. Ellen
