Hello! I am a new model (19 years old) hoping to make it in the high fashion/runway modeling industry. My problem is that I have wide hips for my size (im 5'9 and weigh 118, and unfortunately its all bone so no fat to work off) and I have also had a baby so I have some strecth marks on my butt! haha I know they usually edit them out in photos but would that hinder my runway chances? or do they have an advanced kind of foundation made specifically for that? I mean I heard of victoria secret models returning to the runway rightaway after giving birth and surely they must have had SOME kind of strecthmarks! haha Thanks, Grace Pamela

Hi Christina! I am interested in becoming a runway/high fashion model, but im having issues with my weight right now. i am 5"10.5 and 34-25-34 and 130lbs. I know that in the high fashion industry the weight requirements are really strict and that they look for girls who weigh somewhere around 120lbs. My weight problem really isnt so much as having excess "flab" as it is being a little too muscular. I know that muscle weighs more than fat so i was wondering if you knew any excercises that woould help me get slimmer instead of bulking me up. thanks :)

This may seem like an odd question but here we go... I recently watched the victoria's secret fashion show and I noticed that none of the girls have bangs. Then I started thinking and realized a lot of models don't have them... you don't either. I have bangs because I hate my forehead. (I have a weird hairline thanks to my grandmother) Is having bangs something that's frowned upon in the modeling industry or can I keep mine? I'd be willing to grow them out if it's ABSOLUTELY necessary. Thanks!

Hi Cristina! What do you suggest for models with high foreheads- bangs or no bangs? I've seen some high-fashion models with high foreheads without bangs. I have a high forehead, and right now I have an off-center part with layered side-swept bangs that show most of my forehead. Thanks! Cynthia
