How was your experience at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week with Nicolita?
Where do I begin? The Nicolita show was insanely amazing! I fell in love with all three of my swimsuits because the collection had so much heart and soul that I was just so honored to be a part of the movement! The energy backstage was unlike anything i've experienced! The soundtrack, the audience, AND my best friend, Yami Mufdi, walked in the show as well! I'm a big sap so it was kind of emotional, it was surreal! Miami Fashion Week and Nicolita especially was the highlight to my summer!
Tell us about your experience at NY Fashion Week with Boy Meets Girl?
Stacy Igel, the BMG designer, is truly an inspiration and one of the most amazing women I've encountered over the years of being a model! Walking for BMG was so fun! The BMG team is so real, and genuine and just really refreshing in this world of vultures! Haha! I love love love them! We all danced backstage while Natasha Bedingfield performed and had the best time!! I actually wore my special BMG shoes to my final go-see for Nicolita for luck, and they worked :)
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Well, I'm currently a student at Brooklyn College studying Broadcast Journalism and I also have a degree in Business Administration! I have been modeling for the last 5years or so! I have had quite a journey in this industry, lots of highs and lows but I truly love what I do and I count my blessings constantly because nothing in life is promised! I've been really fortunate to have consistent work, make great friends and live in one of the best cities in the world! I have the most supportive family and friends and an amazing boyfriend who help keep me motivated and focused on my dream!
How did you first get started in modeling?
I basically started modeling when I was 16, I did a major competition and placed well in both the modeling and acting categories, especially in runway! I then did some big shows for Wella and was able to travel and work in Portugal and Chicago! I stopped to go to college, then got back into the swing of things at around 19 years old! I competed on Mynuvo's Model Latina during it's first season, I didn't win, which was a huge reality check, but it lit my fire to work harder and become a stronger model and a stronger woman! That show opened a lot of doors for me and helped me realize that this is what I really want to do! Since then I have been a workaholic and have been blessed with some amazing opportunities!
What are your favorite things about modeling?
My most favorite part of modeling is the runway! It's where I feel like I did something right and it's where I'm most proud of myself! I love photoshoots and events and showrooms and free stuff of course but there is nothing like walking in gorgeous clothes, great shoes, and feeling the presence of all the people in the room but seeing no one and knowing that little old me is holding everyones attention...it's a lot of pressure but I love it!
What is your modeling dream job?

I'd like to be in Nylon, it's my favorite magazine, along with Vogue, Elle, and Glamour! And I'd also like to model internationally for some time ;) When your heart is really in it, It's hard to pick just one thought...
Favorite kind of music or band?
Im a music junkie so my ipod is really eclectic but I'm really loving Adele, she's brilliant and just so beautiful!! I love her CD, 21..it's constantly on repeat! I'm also a big Plan B fan! :)
Do you have any hobbies?
I love hot yoga! I play a lot of sports, volleyball, tennis, basketball and baseball! I'm a dancer as well, so I love taking classes and working with kids on the weekends!
What is currently your favorite piece of clothing?
It's all about a great pair of boots! Combat boots, high boots, ankle boots, leather, suede, I love love love boots! Is that weird? Hahaha
If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
Without a doubt I'd want a power to heal! Maybe in a cool way, like vampire blood, (I'm a true blood fan) but either way, I think there is a lot of suffering and disease out there and its effecting many innocent people! Most specifically children, before they're even able to live out their dreams, the chance to do so is snatched and it breaks my heart! Until we can get some special powers, we'll have to rely on some prayers, education, awareness and positivity...
