I am a young woman who was recently diagnosed with an incurable, detrimental disease. I walk with a cane after atrophy and palsy, so I am used to standing out. It can be frustrating and embarrassing at times for anyone with illnesses or disabilities, but I'm here to stand out for a different reason! I want women of all ages, shapes, sizes, disabilities, and abilities to know they are beautiful, but more than that, SPECIAL! There's no need to hide away because of an illness or other obstacles in your way. I want to represent those girls and women and show them that there's no need to feel like an outcast; that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!! I have had a hard path and faced many obstacles, but I am finally satisfied with my body, my look, and, above all, myself (you can be too)! And because of this, I am stronger and more powerful than ever before!! I want to encourage others to feel this same power, to exude confidence throughout the world, despite and in spite of the challenges we all face in so many different ways. We are ALL beautiful, inside and out! We just need to put our best foot forward and let the light of our souls shine through our smiles! Let's show everyone there is still beauty and wonder in this amazing little planet of ours!
